Alan Houtz was born and raised in Mapleton and learned from his dad to work with wood, and to take pride in his work. His love for his hometown made it the perfect place to raise his family, and he has since purchased, remodeled, and now lives in his childhood home.
After working in the cabinet industry for over 30 years, gaining experience on both local projects and custom homes from California to Boston, Alan established
Houtz Woodworks in 2011.
